Poster final edit
I have chosen to put Lana Del Rey (my model) on the left of the poster because I think this creates a better composition because not only does it make room for a preview for the text, date and what the album and the CD look like, it looks a lot more organised and professional. I have chosen to add in the 'parental advisory' badge and the 'amazon' badge to show people where to go to buy this album.
Digipak final edit
This is my final digipak design, I think it works better than the last one because there is still that flow throughout the digipak, but it looks better. For example, before I chose to have the album name and 'Lana Del Rey' in the same font, but now I see that it still does continuity and also looks a lot better.
I have chosen to use a lot less colour because I think it links together a lot better, also it links well if what Lana Del Rey is wanting to portray - her 'bad-ass', rebellious attitude. The use of no colour, I think, makes the album look a lot more professional because when using colour, to make it look professional, the camera needs to have a great lens and the editing needs to be good, whereas the program and camera I used is probably not as good as the professional programs. The third side on the top and the first on the bottom was inspired by some of Rihanna's booklets that she has inside her CD's. The idea of splitting it up so I can have different close ups of her really works and looks very professional. I have chosen to have the lyrics page as many small images of her because I thought it looked effective, especially with text put on the top. But then I found another Rihanna image that has lots of small images of her, the differences are that Rihanna's are all different images, I have used the same image all the time; my image doesn't have as many images on as Rihanna's.
